Aften winners' proclamation, at the end of evening all awarded videos have been shown once more.

The Jury of 'Il Coreografo Elettronico', composed by Susanne Franco (President), Roberto Casarotto and Gitta Wigro, after a deep analysis of works in contest, has stated this:

First prize Napolidanza to:

Derrière elle (Belgium 2009, 12'41'')

directors: Ishrann Sigidijan, Thomas Turine, Natalia Sardi, Laida Aldaz
choreographers: Natalia Sardi, Laida Aldaz
photographer: Ishrann Sigidijan
dancers: Natalia Sardi, Laida Aldaz
musics: Thomas Turine
production: Pendule Productions
coproduction: Cie Delivery

To honour “Derriere Elle” was a unanimous decision by the jury. This collaboration by two dance artists, a filmmaker and a composer is the result of a strong idea and a layering and condensing of creative elements. The photography shows a rich awareness of the possibilities of the frame - the camera constructs, rather than records space, by placing as much importance on what it excludes as it includes. The approach to movement equates bodies and objects, employing passive movement to create an unsettling ambience. The film displays a thoughtful identity that is all its own.

Prize Young authors/Indipendent productions to:

Francesche (Italy 2009, 13'25'')

directors: Fiorenzo Zancan, Chiara Bortoli
choreographer: Chiara Bortoli
photographer: Fiorenzo Zancan
dancers: Francesca Contrino, Francesca Raineri, Francesca Trevisan, Chiara Bortoli
musics: Andrea Cera
production: Jennifer Rosa

This personal portrait, despite some flaws, is refreshing for its levity and warmth. In contrast to the mediated aesthetics of Second Life, it offers a look at how real women might consider their identity in ‘first life’.

Special mentions to:

- Find the Dancers (The Netherlands/Israel 2009, 4'25'')

directors: Sirah Foighel Brutmann, Eitan Efrat
choreographers: Sirah Foighel Brutmann, Eitan Efrat
photographer: Eitan Efrat
dancer: Sirah Foighel Brutmann

This video deserves a special mention for its sideways approach. Tongue firmly in cheek, they invite us to play a game, underlined by a home video look and gameboy music.

- Promise of Fallen time (Spain/UK 2009, 18'52'')

director: Isabel Rocamora
choreographer: Isabel Rocamora
photographer: Nic Knowland
dancers: Anna Mittèl, Eric Majò
musics: Jem Noble
production: Isabel Rocamora for Infinito Production

This work is a poetic meditation on ageing, memory and bereavement. With so many works of video dance made by young authors at the beginning of their lives, mortality is rarely explored. This is a touching depiction of mortality from a mature artist.
